Music switches back to stereo when usb connection between htc adapter and phone is jiggled/briefly disconnected #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Begin playing music
2. Toggle adapter to stream output through 3.5mm jack
3. jiggle connection/put the phone down/breathe

What is the expected output? output should stay as-is

What do you see instead? output switches back to phone speaker with 
slightest touch.  Then have to toggle headset all over again.  

What version of the product are you using? 1.3

On what operating system? cupcake 1.5
