Which cuda version? Did you just install it? For gpu acceleration I believe you need cuda version 11.8.

This is probably one of the best step by step guides to getting gpu acceleration working. You should really try cuda 11.8 as well. You dont need to get tensorflow.dll as my program uses pytorch instead

have now installed CUDA 11.8, pytorch and followed the article..still no fun...:( might come back to it later with a new set of eyes..
I can give you the raw python file too and you can see if you can run it that way too.
Does it run if you turn gpu acceleration off? It shpuld still work on the cpu.

havent tried the GPU turning off..might give that a go..is the py file the one from your repo?
yes
https://github.com/setiastro/cosmicclarity/blob/main/SetiAstroCosmicClarity.py
if it doesnt work with cpu only then there is something else going on with your computer

must be something else..the py file does nothing at all it seems to run but no output..the CPU seems to be the type without integrated graphics..must be all on my side. As a ncie to have though it might be beneficial to add a minimum specs to the scripts/programs (it might be somehwere already and I just have my man eyes on..;)
My cpu doesnt have integrated graphics at all. Are you saying it wont even run om your cpu? It should give you some kind of error. There shouldnt be a "minimum" requirement to run it.

sorry I thought I knew how to just run on CPU rather than GPU..quick help?
There is a dropdown in the gui to disable gpu acceleration. Or in the python code replace cuda with cpu will force it to cpu too
