Possible problem with sleep #32

I've just noticed that if I leave my L13 unplugged and asleep but not shutdown overnight, the battery is totally flat in the morning.

As far as I can tell, it goes to sleep properly (screen off, power led slowly flashing, only wakes up with power button press), though I have to admit I'm not familiar with the latest mac os releases and their battery/sleep related settings.

When I look at the battery useage graph in system settings, it looks like the battery maintains full charge for about 4 hours then it drops suddenly to zero, though I guess I can't know if that data is being accurately recorded when it's (theoretically) asleep.

The odd thing is, the battery is in reasonabley good condition and I can easily use it without being plugged in for four or five hours before the battery is close to flat. It's almost as if the battery consumption is pretty much the same (or even worse) when it's meant to be asleep.

If anyone can advise how I might gather better information I'd be happy to do it.
