Login problems

I can only login through the webroser from the link provided in the app. And even then after I get access to exhentai in app if I mess with even one setting in app, all content from exhentai is closed off from me. I can easily access exhentai content from the webbroser but not the app.

@Drunkhow-tw Im glad im not the only one havin these problems. I mean I had to remake a account on github just to get the word out about the new update being bugged lol. I never had any problems with the older versions. The app WAS perfect :pensive:

The EHentai website upgraded, the app has to update to fit the website. I don't know why the new version calls Sad Panda out on your phones.

When did you get Sad Panda? Immediately after updating the app, or after clicking the EHentai Settings in Settings->EH.

It's after updating the app, and I tried installing the old version, but still wasn't working. But the website is working in browser though.

Ahh! The app start loading after I change to list view on the setting page of the website, so Is it about parsing in a wrong pattern?

I finnaly got around to signing in with cookies. These are the steps I took and got sad panda

(1) After signing in with cookies. I tapped on an doujin. (2) Then I tapped the back butten on my phone not the app. (3) I then swiped down on the screen of my phone to do a refresh of the home page in the app. (4) I was then greated with a sad panda.

@seven332 I downloaded the 1.0.25 version and logged in with cookies. when I set the app to e-hentai and not exhentai the homepage and every thing else works fine. I was able to search/read/download anything I wanted.

But when I switch over to exhentai option in the settings im greated to a sad panda on the homepage and now I cant search/read/download anything.

@seven332 On version 1.0.25 the app wouldnt let me login the normal way so I tryed signing in from web link provided at the bottem of the login page of the app. I was able to view exhentai content.

But once i backed out of a doujin to the homepage, I swiped down to refresh and I was greated with sad panda. Also the cookies login did not work aswell.

But you can search/read exhentai content on a browser, like Chrome or FireFox? Did you use the app and browsers in the same network, or the same WIFI?

Send the log file to me if you trust me. The file contains cookie information of http requests from EhViewer. Anyone can access your ehentai account if he/she get the cookies. So don't share it. Just send it to me via e-mail if you trust me. You can get my e-mail in Settings->About.

I had this problem and it was fixed when I switched to list view in the ehentai settings page. Maybe you could modify the message you get when there's a parsing error from "Settings->About->Help" to "Try switching to List View in Settings->EH->EHentai settings->Front Page Settings" or something like that?

I think the problem is that EH switched from storing its settings on your machine in a cookie to storing them on the server. Since most people already have Thumbnail view selected on their home PC setup if you don't do anything to change that the parser will fail. There really should be an english version of the help page that explains that you need to create a new profile for EhViewer and use List View.

@seven332 @seven332 I think a slideshow option would be vary nice. And to make a slideshow option even better is a way to control how long the slideshow stays on one image in milliseconds. A good example of this is in the "Perfect Viewer" app on android. This feature would be perfect for viewing imagesets in your app.
