Could you please add the Co-Stop metric? This is very helpful when t-shooting performance issue and during rightsizing. Thanks.

rschitz commented 8 months ago

i'll add this metric on an existing appliance connected to a genuine infrastructure so we can compare this metric to cpu latency and cpu ready before pushing it

MihirP1129 commented 8 months ago

Thank you, we're trying to move away from VeeamOne to Sexigraf.

rschitz commented 8 months ago

i just tested the implementation in a real world scenario, it's interesting but i'm not sure it worth the storage and processing cost compared to cpu ready and latency metrics already provide: image I can share you the code so you can test it to evaluate the benefit on your side maybe?

MihirP1129 commented 8 months ago

Nice, when you say storage and processing cost, is that on the sexigraf appliance?

Please do share. Thanks.

rschitz commented 8 months ago

yes on the sexigraf appliance only

MihirP1129 commented 8 months ago

Ok if you don't mind sharing the code and instructions on how to get that pulled into the dashboard, I would much appreciated it.

please replace this file https://files.sexigraf.fr/tmp/ViPullStatistics.ps1 in /opt/sexigraf/ and this file https://files.sexigraf.fr/tmp/VMware_All_Cluster_Top_N_VM_Stats.json in /var/lib/grafana/dashboards/VMware_VM/ and check the "VMware All Cluster Top N VM Stats" dashboard 5min later

Sweet! Thank you so much. I'll test it out and let you know if I have any questions. Thanks again for the quick turnaround.
