I lost the configuration for other reasons, it worked fine before, after normal configuration again, I can't see the added Sony TV in both homekit and remote, reset and reinstall both have the same problem, how do I need to configure it?

node.js v18.12.1 homebridge v1.5.1 homebridge-bravia-tvos v5.0.8

thanks

Same issue. I wish it would work. This looks like a very nice plugin.

Also following, would love to see this updated. I haven't used the previous versions as I just got homebridge and was excited to see a plugin so well detailed.

dimed89 commented 1 year ago

same issue for me, does anyone know if there will be a fix?

Adelgiorno92 commented 1 year ago

So after making this plugin a child bridge, I then added it to HomeKit. While it appeared no devices were added, I was able to see it in my HomeBridge Accessories. So I went back to HK and searched for devices using the Add Accessory and then "More options" and it found my TV. However, it asked for the HomeKit QR code again so I just scanned my HomeBridge QR code and it added it and now I have full control... not sure how this worked but it did haha. Best of luck everyone!

I will try that tonight thank you very much, I hope it will work too it is a very interesting plugin.

And by doing the manipulation does it work with the apple remote integrated into the iPhone?

Adelgiorno92 commented 1 year ago

Yeah, it appears in the remote app as well!

The above problems occur after upgrading 16.3

It cannot be used after following the above steps

Worked for me too, but without creating a secondary bridge

  1. Add Accessory
  2. "More options"
  3. Enter the main homebridge code
zwb124 commented 1 year ago

I'm assuming this project is dead as there have been no updates in 3 years… I have my TV added to homebridge, but I can't get it to show in HomeKit.
