It's pretty annoying when the guard villagers try to use crossbows or any kind of ranged weapon, they friendly fire their own fellow villagers most of the time. This could be solved by adjusting the AI so that villagers would move our of each other's line of sight or just disable friendly fire for the villagers completely.
