Autoloading in qtile #603

          Hello. After restarting the service in manual mode, the buttons will start working. But after restarting the system, nothing changes.

Where is step 6? I guess that is what step 8 is supposed to be.

This .desktop file is supposed to run after you log in: https://github.com/sezanzeb/input-remapper/blob/main/data/input-remapper-autoload.desktop. I would have expected a log that says Autoloading for all devices in it. Some DEs have trouble with .desktop files

Indeed, the problem is with the autorun of this .desktop file. Therefore, I wrote the command input-remapper-control --command stop-all && input-remapper-control --command autoload in the bash script when starting the window manager

Ah, good that you were able to confirm this.

are you referring to the ~/.profile file? Or is it something specific to qtile?

This is a separate file in the qtile config. (autostart.sh).

I'll keep this issue open, maybe someone will even figure out why the .desktop file is not running properly in qtile
