I would also like to add that pressing the key with Input Remapper stopped does nothing.
I'm experiencing this too. I'm a Linux user who is trying to turn the Copilot key into something useful. I have it mapped to Control_R which I need to get out of VirtualBox full screen. Unfortunately, it also triggers the Super (Windows) key. Is there a way to have only the remapped function activated by this key?

I ended up using keyd instead, take a look at this post I made on reddit for more details
I solved this problem by first adding a mapping disabling the original functionality of the key
Menu = Disabled Menu + F6 = VolumeUP..
I have noticed that my mapped keys sometimes move around in the menu after I reassign them, so keys I remap all at the same time (like WASD) end up being in different spots in the "Input" column. If you disable a key (neat-o that you figured that out!), have you found that it gets moved down the "Input" column to show up AFTER you reassigned the key, thus disabling it?
I just got a new HP Envy x360 2-in-1 Laptop 15-fe1xxx and it has one of those fancy new Copilot keys. As I am a Linux user, I have no need for a copilot key. I am trying to remap it to open something like Xournal++ or my terminal. This works, but the key shows up to Ubuntu as Super+Shift and performs the action the super key would in addition to opening the app.
I did check for similar issues.
I would appreciate any help/tips/advice you have to offer!
Output of
sudo pkill -f input-remapper && input-remapper-gtk -d
