@vakil01 would this need to tie into an existing scheduling system?
Good question. Likely tie into ACF Q-Flow, the appointment and lobby management system in process for CF, MC, and CW. Likely this system can do extracts so maybe not essential. In addition I see it being used for programs that do not use Q-Flow such as Family & Children and IHSS.

I totally forgot that Q-Flow has a text messaging capability - we have never turned it on. All the information is in Q-Flow so it makes sense that we use it rather than go through another process to use Promptly. The only Promptly use cases would be from other programs. I think this lowers the priority of this enhancement though it still seems higher than cosmetic enhancements.

Suggest something like: You have an appointment on (Date), (Time) with (Program name or worker name) at (location).
Example: You have an appointment on January 1, 2014 with CalFresh at 1235 Mission St.
(Program name or worker name) might not be needed - the Program name might be in the message header.
Up for discussion with Programs are an option to cancel or reschedule - might create more confusion than it is worth.
