Consider a recurring email newsletter about civic-tech/Brigades #8

I really like the content of @ondrae's "State of Civic Tech" at hack nights. I also like ChallengePost's newsletter.

I think a page on the website, or a newsletter might be a great way to extend the reach of this info and engage our target audience. So, I'm creating this issue so we might discuss this idea.

That would be neat. If any of y'all get the SPUR newsletter, they've got some links at the bottom of each one to "Other News and Events;" some of them are civic-tech-related, so that could be a good first source for some of those articles.

We could also have a thread here for people to submit links they find during the week.

Would we want this to be SF-specific, or general civic tech anywhere?
