Divorce from codeforamerica/labplc_projects_page #138

Closed jszwedko closed 8 years ago

It looks like we can ask Github support to change this repo to "normal mode" to eliminate the upstream connection to codeforamerica/labplc_projects_page. I feel like we've diverged enough that the connection is no longer useful and makes it confusing when opening a pull request since the default target is the upstream rather than master of ours. Any opposition to this?

+1 to splitting from upstream. I would suggest using manualfork if there weren't so many issues attached to it. I'm looking at adding to that functionality, so that in cloning it clones wiki and issues en masse, but sadly, it's not available yet.

, I didn't realize manualfork could be used with existing repos. The API could definitely be used to clone issues, but I agree that without that feature, it'd be better to go the support route for this one.

Sent support request, we'll see what happens.
