New Recurring Donation Objects does not create Child Opportunity Objects

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a new Recurring Donation.
2. Save.
3. (Nothing happens.)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
"Stubs" or Pledges for the Donations that add up to the Recurring Donation 
object are created.

What version of the packages are you using?
Recurring Donations 1.19.2

Please provide any additional information below.
This seems to only be occurring in a Salesforce instance on eu1; we could not 
recreate the issue on NA servers.

Hmm... Do you have validation or field level required-ness on the 
Donation/Opportunity object?

This is absolutely something that I should have thought of.  Yes, I had a 
custom field required on the Donation.
