Quick link to OS grid refs, displayed on an OS map. 6 figures grid ref. It would need the letters.

URL parameters in general to link to any point on any map... would need to capture the coord of the center, the zoom level and the map name (and any overlays?) and be something like:

http://www.simonlikesmaps.com/X/Y/Z/mapName

Is this too complex - at some point this just becomes a route with a single waypoint, which can then be shared with a much simpler link.
