Can't open in Catalina #151

When I open Itsycal, it apeare a warning windows:

Move Itsycal to the Applications folder

Itsycal must be run from the Applications folder in order to work properly.

Please quit Itsycal, move it to the Applications folder, and relaunch.

in fact, I was copy the app to the Applications folder and run on it.

I was facing the same issue with macOS Catalina. It was working if Itsycal was installed on macOS before Catalina and then updated to Catalina, but when I tried to install Itsycal for the first time in Catalina, then it was blocking me the same way as @ardanzhu described.

But after running following command, waiting for a few minutes and opening Itsycal again, it's now working for me:

sudo spctl --master-disable

Faced this issue today with the latest version of Itsycal (Monterey 12.3.1). I downloaded, unziped, opened it and read the message. Then I moved it through CLI to Applications, but it still didn't work. Then I removed it and do the same, then google, tried ideas and nothing works for me (despite permissions was correct, run from CLI works). Then, before give up, I just removed and unziped again (still the same zip that I downloaded first time), and moved to Applications by UI (using mouse and Finder I mean), and it works now.
