Currently we are seeking to integrate the content we had in our ‘about’ menu with the documentation from Sphinx. In attempting to accommodate everything, we are facing the problem of either (1) too many menu items OR (2) pages that are too long!

What we need is the ability to host pages on the WPHP site that do not appear in any of the menu items. So you described these as public but not linked pages.
