@cvong I suspect either the converter (LibreOffice) is not working, or the directories are not writable. What do you see when you go to /status.json
?
Hi,
I have the same problem with error "converter":false. Could you guide me how to install it correctly? Thank you in advanced!
@tiquay When the converter status is false
, it means the Docsplit library is unable to locate LibreOffice/OpenOffice, and/or unable to determine its version.
Which office software did you install (name and version), and where did you install it?
@va7map Thanks for your excellent hint! I can make it work like a charm after applying this patch (https://github.com/senner/docsplit/commit/79b75cdc639a724fa611e8a37423bad56adba05a)
Glad to help. @cvong, were you able to figure out what caused the problem? If so, I'll go ahead and close this issue.
I'll close this for now.
Dear Sir,
I install predoc on our server but I can only view the public/index.html file. When I switch to "viewer," it shows "We're sorry, but something went wrong." If I switch to "status," it shows "PROBLEM." Do I need to precompile or preconfig predoc in order to make predoc work? Thank you very much for your help.
