What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch Wagic
2. Select Options
3. Change a setting --> no way to Save and exit to Main Menu
4. OR click a keybinding to change --> no physical buttons on the device can be
set to the new keybinding. Wagic will remain at the Options screen unless Force
Quit from the Android Applications menu (no way to Save and exit to Main Menu).
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
There's no button to exit and save to main menu, and no physical buttons to
assign keybindings to.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I hacked a Nook Color 1.4.3 and installed Cyanogen firmware 7. Installed Wagic
using the .apk, had to manually drag and drop core_0186.zip into the /Res
folder. Wagic opens and runs fine, just can't exit any mode or screen once I've
entered it and hence, can't save any Options changes or return to menu after
entering Options screen.
Please provide any additional information below.
Wagic seems to run fine. I can toggle from turn phase to phase by swiping
upwards on the touchscreen. However, the only physical buttons on the device
are volume up/down, home screen and power/screen off. If I click to change a
keybinding, there's no button I can hit to set the key. Volume buttons changes
volume, power/screen off shuts off screen, Home menu button minimizes Magic and
shows the home screen. If I'm in the Options menu, there's no way to save
changes and exit to Main Menu. I have to go to the home screen, open
Application settings and Force Quit Wagic. I can't save any changes made in the
Options screen.
Possible solution.
Add a software button to the Options screen that is "Save and exit to Main
Menu." Without it, no configurations can be altered and there's no way to exit
the Options screen. It's fine that I can't assign physical buttons with the
keybindings since I can swipe upwards during gameplay to change phases, but
there needs to be a software button for Saving changes and exiting to Main Menu
or else Wagic can only be played with vanilla/default configuration settings...
I even got "Magic 2014" installed and running on the Cyanogen 7 firmware...
would be great to have Wagic working well too. I just want to enable
auto-skipping turn phases for speed and simplicity, but am unable to do so
because none of the physical buttons on the device allow me to Save and exit to
Main Menu from the Options menu.
