Hard Crash when changing [D]isplay options - Low priority #171

Closed iAmVaeVictus closed 10 years ago

Win 8.1, SGMiner 4.1.153, Sapphire 280x Vapor-x cards, Card Bios 015.041...., Gigabyte MoBo, Sempron AM3 processor. 4GB Ram.

I was mucking about with the display options, investigating what each one did, and was adding and removing those options (Debug, Per Device, Ingonito, etc). When I hit Co[M]pact on, then back off, sgMiner quit.

Repeatable if you keep hitting M (takes about 3 - 4 times).

Thanks!

Cannot reproduce on GNU/Linux (Arch) running git master. Most probably a Curses (PDCurses?) issue on Windows. Needs more testers.

Does this happen with the other options, or only Co[M]pact?

Options tested: (again, this is on the Win 8.1 config above) N, C, D, P, Q, V, R, W, I, L, Z - are ok, S seems to put it into a mode where further key inputs are ignored M crashes on 2nd or 4th touch. EDIT - this is the only option where the screen totally is wiped and is rewritten. Others seem to wait until you exit before implementing the requested change (in most cases).

Veox, I updated on GitHub. Seems to be the only one, but S also acts strange.

This was likely addressed and fixed by https://github.com/sgminer-dev/sgminer/issues/237, which has been closed.

Likely, this particular issue could be closed if it cannot be replicated on builds past 4.2.1-178-g7801

Closing since no reply and likely is fixed, reopen if still an issue.
