Baikal autoswitch not working on new baikal devices #445

Hi, there is a problem with sgminer/5.5.1-b, pool switching is not working, after auto or manual switch miner doesnt produce accepted shares, need to restart, all the newer version miners affected! Is there a link to burn sgminer/4.9.3 on the sd card, as it seems fine.

The developer hardly replies to graphics card users (his reason for programming SGMiner to begin with.)

Sadly, I doubt he'd even bat an eye toward an ASIC manufacturer's own implemention of SGMiner.

Please let me know if you found an answer! I'm experiencing the same issues on my Baikal 150.

Being that the baikal is an ASIC, I do not believe it will be possible for it to be programmed to hash a different algorithm. The main purpose of Monero switching algorithms periodically is to prevent ASIC's from being the majority of the network.

I believe this is simply because the Monero development team & contributors want to keep the network as decentralized as feasible.

nothing immposible but need hard work and time i think . because we developing the way of original even hash rate mine low but should havedoor to programe or do something in this heater machine now . here isvideo some ukranian developer mining monero with changing some code or adding in firmware https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxfxLpkBIMk
