Some of the DeltaXML tables may still need a bit of nudging to avoid having to be landscape. I haven't tried using @width on the programlisting in the tables. It's also possible to reduce the font size of individual programlisting: http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/FittingText.html#ReduceFontSize
