Refine loses active hyperlink to reconcile Freebase topics after Gridworks->Refine upgrade #534

From Will Snow on the email list:

"I am moving a large project from Gridworks to Google Refine. The file opens
no problem and the reconciliations still show as matched, but the links no
longer open the Freebase link.
...
Yes you are right I DID wait to upgrade to Refine so I am skipping upgrade
steps."

Not sure if the problem only happens when skipping upgrade steps (ie skipping
directly from Gridworks to Refine 2.5) or if it's something that would happen
anyway with this type of project.

Initial investigation shows that the recon.identifierSpace has ended up as the
string "null" instead of a real Null or perhaps
"http://rdf.freebase.com/ns/type.object.mid" (the Freebase namespace)

Hi Tom,

More info: I upgraded from Gridworks Version 1.1-r878 .

I did not export a tar file from Gridworks so I don't have a clean file from
before the upgrade, sorry. Attached is the earliest i have for this one, but I
had to retrieve it via G-Refine so it is probably modified.

Refine is great, I'm up and running with your help, thanks!

-Will

I also have dead hyperlinks in my cells as a result of undoing and redoing
reconciliation in the Undo/Redo panel.

Dan - do you have a copy of a project which shows this that we could look at?

A patch which repairs the damage after the fact is included in r2454, but I
still don't know what the root cause during the upgrade process.
