After playing around with the yi-hack-v3 on a US27 cam - works fine mostly. The app disconnects periodically and seems to require access to the web to re-pair to the cam (even having booted with the v3 files on the SD/disable ng-proxy). The app then hits several internet web addresses, some of which show up as from insecure servers
devs.data.mob.com
api.share.mob.com
d.mob.com
m.data.mob.com
c.data.mob.com
ip-api.com
So I think it's use should probably be confined using lan security.
An RTSP implementation that cuts off the need for any web access would be ideal, of course.
