Yesterday Dirk told me, freenet shut down the API used by the connector.
He even got a confirmation from freenet that it won't go live again.
I had to remove the connector from play store.
The only way to get it up again is complaining at freenet and pushing them to
get the API back online because user are using it.

I don't think complaining at freenet is a way to bring the old API back. In
other words: a shit storm won't do. You have to keep in mind that the old API
was not public, but was usable by websmsdroid because it was not confidential.
But: such usage has been unwanted by freenet all the time.
As there is a new SMS desktop software client by freenet, there also probably
is a new API. And up to now it is not public AND confidential AND reverse
engineering is prohibited by license agreement. So one way might be to ask
freenet to make the new API public and/or officially support websmsdroid. That
should do no harm to freenet as the freenet websms connector actually was
usable only together with a paid account.
Be welcome.

Hello guys,
I just found out that another App called "SMSoIP" is still working with freenet.
Maybe you could ask them or analyse their apk-Files how they are doing it
without the old API.
I don't know wether it could help because I am not a genious about java and
android programming, but I am looking forward to a solution for this problem.
