As the KF landing legs are extemely long / have insane clearance/extension, they could use the ability to make them shorter. As they also have 2/3 extension pistons, at least one of these could be moved to be user controlled.
Might be able to get away with a 2nd stock animation module and a 2nd animation in the parts. Otherwise, a new module could be developed specifically for user-controllable offset ability. Would link in with the deployment module to only activate at a specific point in deployment.
