Have not forgotten about this, just been busy and haven't been able to do SSTU updates yet.

Plan is to push out a release this weekend, which could potentially include this PR if it was still needed. Will review this PR in depth and check on the methodology, see if any changes are needed.

Have also been working with others on RealFuels support -- does Kerbalism use RealFuels at all / could the hooks needed be done through there?

i don't think Kerbalism cares about RealFuels

and i'm not sure about the hooks
