Hello. I have used Droid48 on probably 3 different devices (mostly Samsung-ish, still) and never observed this.
Rotating the screen always produced the expected result (screen split in half with upper part of the emulated HP48 keyboard on the left, and the right shows a "reflowed" (different visual layout) representation of the bottom of the emulated HP48 keyboard.
The emulated HP-48 was never affected in any other mean and and never showed any kind of corruption or "Memory Clear" problem shortly after rotating the physical device.
I've just tried it on multiple devices, and I can only reproduce the issue on my old Samsung Galaxy S5. Very weird. The settings were set to the defaults and I checked that they're identical.
When the screen rotates the display shows "Memory Clear" and the history of the calculation is lost.
This can be quite annoying, as sometimes I accidentally rotate the screen and my calculations are gone. I hope this gets fixed because this is the only good calculator app.
