Hi!
Thanks for the good ideas
>> add tabs in the play list
Why? Can you give an example? Multiple playlists?
>> adding folders by drag and drop (very handy feature)
Into library? Yes, that's cool. Into playlist it should already work
>> tabs wheel scroll
I have only one tab widget, but ok
>> new playlist, add folder, file, playlist button/s in playlist
I have to think about a UI-concept but i like that idea
>> playlist search box
at most a searchbox like if you type sth in the artist window for example
>> usability first!!!
Because of this, I started sayonara
>> a modern oscilloscope, or spectrum analyzer
I like oscilloscopes and spectrum analysers, this feature will come, i promise.
>> clic on album cover, open a larger image or another window with the pic
Maybe, but I download small images atm in order to make cover fetch fast
>> until now is the best player for linux... keep the good work!
Thank you, i give my best
>> i can do the translation to spanish
Another person is already about to do that but I try to arrange a meeting in
the forum

Awesome little app.
Would it be possible to add two icons at the base of the player in the
mini-view, one for adding folder/files, and another for removing items from the
playlist? Basically the same function as Winamp in it's classic mode.

I think this could be the best ever audio player for linux. I'm now using
audacious, but I don't really like that it's kind of slow, searching and
library updating is not that good. Those aren't an issue here. So from that
perspective it's even better than audacious. But here are my suggestions to be
the best.
It need's to be able to have extensions. I personally would need two grate
extensions from audacious: crystalizer and stereo expander. Those really
improve sound in a medium grade sound system.
It need's to be compatible with multimedia keys from all the keyboards.
It need's to be able to play any audio format.
And it need's to support many-many languages (hungarian for me).
I know the last two are obvious and I'm sure that's not going to be any problem.

oh and I forgot to mention unity global menu support for Ubuntu ;)

Global menu is already available on SVN. If you like Hungarian language you are
welcome to translate :) You can find a tutorial in the forum. What audio
formats do you miss? Yes... Multimedia keys. I am still looking for a solution.
I am currently working at extending the Sound backend. So maybe there will be
effects, too. Personally, I don't like sound effects and equalizers, but yes, I
also know a lot of people who think different.. Just give me some time. There
are a lot of feature requests now and I have to set priorities..

I don't know what is SVN. I'm not much of a linux poweruser. I will try to make
a hungarian translation. I don't currently miss any format, I just noted. And I
have one more observation: the scrolling in the music (fast forwarding with the
mouse) is a bit harsh and I think it needs more improving.

I have one more suggestion:
in all 3 little windows anything should be added to the playlist with
double-click but not clearing it every time; if not the default setting but
deffinitly should be an option in my opinion
one bug: when renaming an album title and applying it only affects the first
track

I think there should be a tabbing available for the artist window. I don't want
to have my Rock bands together with my classical pianists. It really would eas
to compile a playlist. And tabbed playlist would help switching between
playlists real easy.
I know I asked for a lot of things but I'm just trying to help, because I
really like the player and see a lot of potential in it. :)

another bug: after switching between tracks really fast and closing player, the
ubuntu track info notifications are still going ... for minutes...

"in all 3 little windows anything should be added to the playlist with
double-click..."
Use middle click. Or if you do not wanna do this, activate the append button in
the playlist (3rd from left)
"when renaming an album title and applying it only affects the first track" No
Bug, feature. Use the "all" checkbox behind the album title and it will affect
all tracks
"tabbing in artist window"
Sorry. Clear no. You can tag your library pretty well and search by genre.
"tabbed playlist"
You can use the View->Playlists and create/save some playlists at the moment.
But I like the tab idea
