KDE volume slider drag dragging window #83

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
When trying to change volume by dragging volume sliber by mouse whole window
moving, not slider.

Sayonara should keep mouse event inside control and not allow KDE to detect
mouse press and drag as dragging at empty window area.

I've also had this issue, this is in fact Oxygen's fault.
If you run oxygen-settings and set Windows' drag mode (first screen) to
something other than "Drag windows from all empty areas" and restart sayonara,
issue is resolved.
That being said, it would be nice if sayonara could somehow prevent oxygen from
stepping in.

It's not Oxygen fault :D
Sayonara should handle this behaviour properly.

Thank you adam777.

@coderusinbox: This happens only with sayonara player? I don't think so...

But nevertheless I have some ideas detecting this wrong behaviour. I hope the
window manager likes these ideas, too.

Hi! I found a solution. Can you try out if the fix works. You have to compile
from the SVN version
