Error During quering #3

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
When changing passwords I receive this message in the logs
Error during quering SAANAccountName=adebnar: No such object
Change failed for user "adebnar"
Te parameter is incorrect.

Any idea what would be causing this error? I have run the query from
command line with the same bind and am able to retrieve this user.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest/ Windows 2k3

I'm seeing a similar thing, the log shows:

[2010/06/08 03:48:57:821]:Error during quering sAMAccountName=user1: Operations
Error
[2010/06/08 03:48:57:821]:Change failed for user "user1"

At the same time I also see this in the Application Event Log:

Source: .NET Runtime 2.0 Error
Category: none
Event ID: 1000
Type: Error
User: N/A

Faulting application googlehashupdater.exe, version 1.0.0.0, stamp 4b94c0a6,
faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.4480, stamp 49c51f0a, debug? 0,
fault address 0x0000bef7.

Windows server 2k3 with hashing-password-filter-0.1rc2

I've updated the .net framework and now I get:

[2010/06/08 04:20:54:540]:Error during quering sAMAccountName=user1: No Such
Object
[2010/06/08 04:20:54:540]:Change failed for user "user1"

Application Event Log still shows:

Source: .NET Runtime 2.0 Error
Category: none
Event ID: 1000
Type: Error
User: N/A

Faulting application googlehashupdater.exe, version 1.0.0.0, stamp 4b94c0a6,
faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.4480, stamp 49c51f0a, debug? 0,
fault address 0x0000bef7.

I've eliminated the kernel32 error by re-reading the install docs and noticed I
completely missed installing the api dll's.

The quering error remains though.

I think is caused by a wrongly set ldapAdminBindDn setting.
Could you post your configuration file (with the password deleted obviously)

This issue seems to be hanging without further info from the poster...
If nothing changes within Friday we will consider it as done...
