Adding venue fails

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Menu | Add venue
2. Type in venue info 
3. Press Add Venue button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Switches to venue view with the 3 tabs, but then show popup message overlay
with: Invalid venueid
I was away from the venue's location when I tried to add it, don't know if
that matters.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version 2009-09-24
mytouch 3G with stock 1.5

Do you know if the venue you added /actually/ ended up submitted; eg, you can 
see it 
on the website?

Naveen,

Should I be concerned for replication time between adding a venue and being 
able to 
access the added data through a second API call?

When I got the error message, I'm quite sure it wasn't added.

j: right now, there should be little or no lag between post+fetch

will let you know if architecture/caching changes this

I was able to add a venue successfully when I was at the location. The previous
failures happened when I was trying to add a location when I was elsewhere.
