7 years ago err sorry must have been a miscommunication here, client folder shouldn't need to know anything about ruby/back-end stuff. Otherwise we're going to have redundant scripts everywhere and it will be very hard to maintain. All we need is an opt-in for the front end checks
Since you're the only one really working on this we can leave it as an opt-out, but usually we'd make it an opt-in, because our clients may have back-end-only developers who will now have to wait for these checks to run even though it won't be necessary. Same would go for running rubocop or something.
