SPIKE: explore existing mkvtoolnix parallelization functionality

• Does mkvtoolnix as it exists today perform actions in parallel?
• What is the necessary interaction in order to perform batch operations, if supported?
  • note: this will also inform #4 as the need/desire for parallelization is perhaps the number one motivator for choice of programming language in this case.
• Is there any extra complexity in running multiple instances of it at once as far as the documented behavior is concerned?

@dGstone18 From what I can see, mkvcleaver doesn't expose an API or a CLI interface. Is that right?
