[FEATURE REQUEST] Support `stats` as string #163

Webpack support stats as a string or an object. But seems this plugin dosn't support string format since you treat it as an object such as here. Could this plugin support the string format? And could make a PR for this if you permit. :)

Just hit this issue too, but shouldn't it be classified as a bug (not a feature request)?
