v3.4.3 Welcome to Settings Sync window won't stop opening every time I open vscode #1345

📰 To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open VS Code

💪 Expected behavior Welcome to Settings Sync window always reopens upon startup. Even when I uncheck show this page at startup.

Having the same issue.

The Welcome to Settings Sync window opens after a few seconds, which sometimes interrupts actual work.

It's really annoying to see the Settings Sync welcome window every time. I have only ever used it once in my few years of using VSCode and that was yesterday while I was setting up a new Mac. I even turned Settings Sync off and it's still popping up. Please make it stop!

Having the same issue

After turning on VSCode's official settings sync, I had to explicitly disable the Settings Sync extension by Shan Khan. This may be obvious to others but it wasn't to me 😅 Now that I type it out, well duh.
