Drawing vertical polygons show as black if drawn clockwise #966

Open the attached clockwise_bug.kml, view on google earth.

The curtain on 40th latitude has three blue, polygons. The middle one is drawn
clockwise and is colored differently.

Tested on GE version 7.1.1.1888 on Windows XP and Windows 7. Also reproduces on
Mac, version unknown.

Look at http://webapps.datafed.net/Datasets/curtain_demo.kmz

This curtain example shows well with Windows, but net well at all with Mac GE
version 7.1.1.x. in a mac. Many polygons are black.

On a related note, this is data visualization, not a realistic model. The
north-south curtain across west states is dark on the east side, brighter on
the west. I'd like it to use just the same color rendering as GE does on the
map. Is there a way to turn off these lighting effects?

Actually curtains on a Mac with GE version 7.0.3.8542 renders the curtains just
like the Windows version. I put a question about the lighting effects to
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18967310/is-it-possible-to-turn-off-lighting-
effects
