  3. form for creating gift
  4. form for pledging to gift
  5. gift page (details on gift, how much is left to fund) 5.b GIFT FUNDED page, let's people know it's a go, right now, closes pledges

I'm not clear on the flow between the homepage and 1.b

Is the idea that someone needs to be logged in to see a gift page? So they go to the homepage first before being redirected to the gift's unique URL?

YES, that can be confusing. We want the home page to describe the service as if it were your first time on the page if you get to the home page via a shareable link, in addition to the service issue, there is an additional display to tell you WHAT GIFT you were invited to contribute to, so you can click to view more about that gift
