In line with a question someone at Hack and Tell brought up, I think it would help the site's impact and credibility to show the source of quotes. It's hard to imagine a journalist for a news outlet linking to one of your quote pages without it. (And hey, even monsters deserve their quotes to be seen in context.)
The concern about sending traffic to bad people/places is totally legit, but you could handle it in a two-pronged way:
When the destination is non-evil, provide a linked URL
When the destination is evil, provide an unlinked URL
Then at least someone has to copy/paste URLs to evil places to visit them, which most people won't, but you show your work either way.
