Try to set aside 1 hour a day to catch up. Read blogs, documentation on the official .net website or build a sample project. During the day, you can save stuff on pocket so you can read during the day on mobile, tablet or later at home.
Okay,
I've been out of the .NET loop for several years now, but I still keep getting job offers. Usually I can pass the coding examples, but need to decline interview questions about the new stuff in .NET
My last experience was with .NET 4.0. So how would someone who is not working actively in .NET catch up with latest things?
