Can't reproduce this issue with my WDTV Live here, so Asus will have to sort this one out most likely.
One person so far reports that commit 6568fd7f5fc98cb65971675fb4ec36d059348711 fixes the issue for him. Awaiting confirmation from more people before counting this as fixed (and trying to get this patch to reach Asus's engineers...)
I haven't had any additional feedback from testers, but in any case I have sent the patch to Asus' tech support, who should forward it to their engineers for review.
Got confirmation that the patch would be forwarded to their engineers for review. Unless told otherwise considering this issue as resolved.
Apparently this issue, which is very common with Sonos devices, can also be reproduced with a WDTV. Try to reproduce the issue with the WDTV (since I have one at hand). This is most likely a bug in Asus' firmware, but so far they seem unable to track down/fix it.
