This pull request fixes the issues that are labeled as WIP
The issues that start with Documentation paragraph 3.5 "..." are basically all about that some information is missing.
This pull request aims to provide an updated baseline that we can discuss about after it has been merged.
Check what issues are acceptably closed; which ones still require attention or additional clarification.
At least this will be a nice cleanup of the issue list so we can focus on the ones that are still open then.
