File manager does not crash if there is no SD CARD , or no files on SD but you have to go first on File manager intermediate screen with one button (EXIT), click on EXIT button and then you have the message NO SD or NO FILE on SD. After that File manager is terminated.
No you do not have the intermediate screen with the "EXIT" button, you get directly the messages and File manager is ended.
