Don't handle special characters in the UI #78

Hi, flying with @Daniel S., who has a special character (ü) in his name. This results in many problems: (1), when clicking onto Notifications (I have a notification of his friend request to me pending), my Shared Flight always crashes and all the menus disappear, also all the Notifications in the Sim are just blank, where his name is contained.
