in some instances, it isn't clear that you can't be selecting streets in a certain direction. right now there's arrows that indicate which directions are available based on where the person drawing has clicked. but if this isn't quick enough, should add something to the draw tool flow to make it clear that the user is drawing in the wrong direction more quickly, before they click a second time and definitely before they click 'search'
