What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have an episode that's been renamed on thetvdb
2. Scan
3. Do Checked
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What happens is, TV Rename downloads the new files first, and the attempts to
rename to old to the new, which it can't of course since now there is already a
file with the new name.
I would suggest changing to that TV Rename does the renaming first and then
does the downloading of new thumbnail and updates the renamed NFO with the new
info.
As it stands now, every time and episode is renamed, you get old nfo files (and
thumbnails if you have that option enabled) laying around and TV Rename will
try and rename them every time you do a scan.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
TV Rename 2.2.4, Swedish Windows XP SP3
Please provide any additional information below.
Well, it either my suggestion above or provide a way to delete files from
within the Scan tab so solve this problem.
