Multiple line selection #2903

With the less pager, I can use Opt + mouse to select the line I want to copy. However, if I want to select multiple line, it will also select the line number and all the formatted chars.

I wonder what is the best way if I only want to select partial line of the content? Thanks

I believe you are referencing #2859; the conclusion is that would be a feature left to the terminal implementation. If I need to copy out of my terminal, I've taken to using cat and bat for everything else.
