I need to research how the arduino is suppose to react if the SD card is full. Then I should run test to make sure that it acts correctly.

With the size of our data files compared to the 8Gb SD cards we use this is not something that is very likely to come up.

This forum post says that if you try to write to a full SD the write will just fail. I have not independently confirmed this, but since this is such a corner case I do not want to do any more work on it. I am marking this issue closed.
