Suggested installation steps for eclipse Granymede ( 3.4.1) dosen't work -

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create directory ( Cypal\plugins )in
d:\..\eclipse_new\dropins\Cypal\plugins
2. unzip the content of "in.cypal.studio.for.gwt-2.alpha.zip" in there
(plugins) - 2 jar files
3. restart eclipse.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should be able to find the plugin cypal in the windows - preferences but
cannot

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
refer above.

Please provide any additional information below.

Hey Thanks for the reply but it dosen't work either.
I have downloaded "in.cypal.studio.for.gwt-2.alpha.zip" , it contains 2 jar
files -
viz "in.cypal.studio.gwt.core_<time stamp>.jar" and
"in.cypal.studio.gwt.ui_<time
stamp>.jar" and placed it in \plugin directory ... but no luck.

Are you sure this works with Granymede eclipse ?

Google has released a nice plugin for GWT and its awesome. I'm planning to
deprecate
Cypal Studio and encourage using that plugin. Please switch over to that. You
will
love it

Good idea, google plugin have not support for managing async files. What about
let
developers the possibility of select the gwt library version for each project
we are
working on??? And of hosted mode running server???

It would be fantastic!!!!!!!!!

With an existing Cypal project the Google plugin throws a NPE when I try to
enable
it. Does anyone have a process for moving to the Google plugin?

Cypal studio will install in both Ganymede and Galileo but you have to have the
J2EE
version of Eclipse.
