Love it! I actually thought it was a picture of the clothing at first and not a painting. Our next available curation date is August 26th! Would you be up for being the curator and announcing this selection on twitter?
Also do you have any prelim work on the alt-text?
Yes, I would love to! :)
I thought it could inspire some great remixes. I'll be super shocked if anyone recreates it!
I'll work on some alt-text and post soon.
No rush! Your curation week isn't for a while.
Just in time.... here is an alt-text for the post:
From the White Rabbit collection: "Grandmother’s Clothes 1 (2008) depicts the front of a silky shirt, patterned in maroon and white. The artist [Chung Shun-Wen] has carefully painted details such as the seams around the breast pockets, and the tiny stitches around its button holes." The pattern has small, yellow and white diamonds dotted within wavy, white and maroon stripes. The painting looks very much like a close up of old and weathered material.
Thank you @kelsey92!! Just updated the repo with details too 🙌🏻 (after seeing your tweet!! Thursday snuck up!). Thanks for doing this, excited to try it out ❤️
Hi!
I'd love to curate/nominate a piece: Grandmother's Clothes 1.
