Improve the UI of the search bar, try using some GitHub library for customizable search for example : https://github.com/arimorty/floatingsearchview

Sir in link there is the second part where the onClick function is created but for this app where should I write this function (in which folder).

Ok sir one more doubt app:floatingSearch_searchBarMarginLeft="@dimen/search_view_inset" In this line of code "@dimen" is already created by a different name Or who I create it.

Then do one thing find nd open dimen file nd then add it

If u are unable to find it , use the margin that was given to the earlier used edit Text
